THE CHOSEN

NEW ALIEN & ADVENT THREATS
A deadly new alien known as the Spectre, capable of creating dark copies of XCOM soldiers, has snuck onto the battlefield. Adopt new tactics to counter it as well as the explosive attacks of the ADVENT Purifier and the psionically charged ADVENT Priest.
NEW ENVIRONMENTS AND MISSION OBJECTIVES

Manage XCOM�s relations with factions and counter The Chosen�s operations from the Avenger. Employ new Resistance Orders to prioritize your personal strategy. Soldiers, scientists, and engineers can now be deployed for Covert Actions that award supplies and boost faction favor if successfully completed.
GREATER CUSTOMIZATION & REPLAYABILITY
Soldiers can develop bonds with compatible teammates for new abilities and perks. The SITREP system dynamically adds new modifiers to the tactical layer to make sure every mission provides a unique challenge. Advanced campaign options allow for finer adjustments to game length and difficulty.
CHALLENGE MODE
Utilize the perfect strategy in new regular one-shot community challenges to claim the top spot on the global leaderboard.
SHARE THE RESISTANCE

I kept getting the “Steamworks is not initialised” error. Is there a way to resolve this?
Same issue here, Ive been looking for a fix for hours. I have steam set to offline mode, CODEX FIT has been dropped in to replace original files, “-allowconsole -log -autodebug -noredscreens -review” has been placed into the Xcom.exe application yet nothing seems to be working :/

Thanks for the game, but I’m unable to run it.
1. I had this: “Steamworks is not initialised”. I cracked the game again a it’s not showing anymore.
2. I got message about missing oo2core_4_win64.dll. Downloaded it and put into Binaries/Win64 folder and now I’m getting
xcom 2 war of the chosen has stopped working.
Any idea what to do? Or what I did wrong?
I have a problem, before installing STEAMWORKSFiX I worked the game with its respective translation into Spanish. I installed the STEAMWORKFIX I play the game but I can not translate it into Spanish, help! sorry for my english, taco taco burrito xD
Win10 Pro x64, I7-8700 system, downloaded via torrent
After installation and copying the CODEX directory, I’m able to execute the launcher.
However I’m getting this error when trying to execute the game itself

There seems to be an error within launcher source file, containing incorrect link to “XComGame.exe” file which does not exists, instead of “XComGame.com”

Note: If anyone would try to be “smartass” like me, attempting to manually rename existing “.com” to “.exe”, don’t. It will result to indefinite loop executing multiple “XComGame.exe” instances.
Update: Do not use launcher and the icon created on desktop by default. Gosth solution bellow (XCom2.exe execution with parameters) seems to work.
