OK for you dumb people who don’t know how to read. (Their are 3 Steps to get the game running)
Step 1:
Re-install Fallout 4-CODEX (Fresh is always better then just using an old game especially with torented games)
Step 2:
Download and Install FALLOUT 4 UPDATE V1.7 INCL DLC-CODEX
Step 3:
Done

Okay so say I have a legit and updated copy of FO4. Can I just take the DLC from this release, activate it same as any other mod, just like has been possible with roughly every other Bethesda game in history? If so, why not just release those DLC’s ESM/ESP/whatever files. That’d be very convenient.
To be honest, I like this approach better, I’ve had no success in playing the former DLCs with all the patching, tried every combination possible… All of the DLC showed as installed but having to “Buy” to unlock.
This time, I did a clean install with only this patch + DLC, and it shows everything installed, no issues so far.

For all u stupid people who don’t know how to install/ DL a Pirated/Thirdparty game.!
Step 1: Learn the software
Step 2: Download and install PowerISO
Step 3: Download a Game e.g. (Fallout Nuka Cola)
Step 4: Right click on the winrar folder and go mount to drive 1 or 2 depends on you.
Step 5: Go to that drive that loaded the disc
Step 6: Double click setup, Wait for the game to install.
Step 7: Go back to the folder and copy all the Codex files into your main game which is usually in C: or D; Drive depending on if u have more drives.
Play the game in administrator mode
Done

Why when i try to build a settlement not all the dlc items show like the concreate structures from workshop dlc?
So quick question, I ran the installation and copied the codex files and everything, but it seems like when I start the game, the Addons menu isn’t on the title screen. Does this mean the DLC isn’t loaded, or will that menu not appear since this is pirated? I can’t tell if the DLC is working since most of it is gated by level and such. Second, If it is working, how do I tell, and if it isn’t working how do I fix it?

Go install the base game from CODEX first:
-Download
-Mount the image
-Install game
-Done
Download THIS file
-Run the setup in the update file
-Let it install into your base game (Fallout 4) install directory
-done
P.S copy and paste the cracks into the games install directory when it has installed, otherwise it may take you to the Steam store page for Fallout 4.

I had just rage quit and uninstalled Fallout 4 last night due to an extremely irritating bug.
I came to terms with it this morning and decided to look for one that’s more up to date. Who knows, maybe Bethesda actually fixed something?! As of 5 months ago, it hasn’t been. This is why I don’t pay Bethesda money. It’s funny because most of you guys here complaining about the game not working…is a problem in the non-cracked version. XD
So, hopefully this works.

I installed it and Nuka world doesn’t even start, it does show up in addons menu with a weird name and no picture. I thought that must be because it’s a pirated game..
So if you already have the last dlcs installed, this will not work. This only works on a freshly installed game with no prior dls installed.

Is anyone else getting a hash error on setup-1.bin saying the file has been modified when launching the update? I’ve tried the torrent here and one elsewhere, and both say the update has been modified and not to proceed.
I Downloaded this, installed it on an old codex version, i saw i was supposed to install it on a fresh install copy of codex but i didnt.. It worked none the less, BUUT.. at the start menu its all black with just the press any button to continue and then the main menu, music is there, but there no background images.. i reinstalled the mods i had on the stock version of the game and the images in the background of the main menu came back. Everything was working fine, UNTIL i went to a settlement to build… Only the new raider/animal cages and such, the crafting benches and the special tab are showing up. thought maybe it was the mods so i uninstalled all of them and restarted the game, still the same thing.. IDK if its worth noting or not, but i was on molecular level of the save i started and was in the process of building the teleporter, so was there a new update for the game that you cant build in settlements til molecular levels gets completed, or maybe it was because of the save game i was on since it came from an older version, or maybe a combo of all three ? I’m currently installing a FRESH copy of Codex and will update if was the fresh codex install problem, or if i HAVE to start a new game.
OK Update. Installed fresh all the way around including this update, main menu background showed up as normal, and after i loaded old saves still couldnt use the workshop build mode properly, so i started a new game and rushed through the half hour long crappy intro to get to sanctuary to build and it works now with a clean save. So when you see someone say FRESH install.. Means EVERYTHING has to be fresh even your saves, sorry updater guys, you cant run old saves with this update for some reason, at least I couldnt. Thanks for this though update though !
i have w7. i reinstall the F4 from codex and install just this update, and it has all dlc’s. the installation has create shortcut on desktop, so when i run it i have only black screen. from the task manager i see the game is not responding. so, i open the folder where the game is installed and double click on Fallou4 exe (NOT Fallout4Louncher) and it’s work just fine with all dlc’s and all old saves. i created new shortcut of that F4 exe from install dir on desktop and all is perfect. hope its helpfull.

just disable windows defender, all anti-vir, anti-malware, etc. must be off.. then run as administrator. for me works fine. but i installed on a fresh reinstaled system.

Hey, I have a problem. Every time I boot up the game, it just takes me to the steam store page for it. I dont own the game and I dont wanna have to pay 60 bucks for it. Any way to bypass this annoyance?
As a side note, I’ve ran the program as Admin, launched it from NMM, Turned off Wi-Fi, and set steam to offline mode, but still with no luck. Even in offline mode it just attempts to being me to the store but displays an error 106 for lack of internet. It’s really starting to piss me off. Hell, I even booted it from /cmd for sonme hope that it wouldent do that shit. I moved the steam files out of the game flder only to see that upon launch it requires those files for some unknown reason. Please answer ASAP.
Sorry for the repeated self post (Answered my own question) and this will be the last time for now. Reddit users seemed to be online mor e often and I asked around and found some help. I’ll copy the conversation here incase anyone else has my problem too.
FerusDeus: When I open the fallout 4 launcher and hit play it just opens steam and goes to the fallout 4 page, am I forgetting something?
technikderp: so when you got the game downloaded you have a folder where the game is in. that is basically your install directory. you can put it anywhere you liike. in that folder, there should be a folder called codex or crack. you copy all the contents from the codex folder to the install directory. then you are good to go.
you start the game with thee fallout4.exe or the fallout4launcher.exe. I would use the launcher as you can change graphics there.
tchssupport: The first time, I clicked on setup.exe and installed the game to C:\Users\myname\Documents\My Games\Fallout4, with all my other games.
When I try to run the game from the CODEX folder in my install directory, which is on my desktop, I get errors about missing dll files.
Sorry I seem so illiterate when it comes to these things, but I honestly aam not sure what to do.
technikderp: ok. that’s good. you almost did it.
now you just get into the codex folder. mark everything in the folder by pressing ctrl+a and then copy everything by pressing ctrl+c.
you need to hold ctrl and while holding ctrl you press the button I said above. for example ctrl+a means you hold ctrl and then press a while holding ctrl.
then you go into this folder: c:\users\myname\documents\my games\fallout 4\
now you press ctrl+v
you should get the question if you want to overwrite the files. you click yes. all files should be overwritten.
now you go into: c:\users\myname\documents\my games\fallout 4\ again
you start the fallout4launcher.exe or fallout4.exe
now you play.
THis shit was really helpfull to me.
copy contents from CODEX folder, right click on FALLOUT4 shortcut, click OPEN FILE LOCALISATION, then copy there content from CODEX folder.

I have the fallout 4 game installed in my pc, may I ask if I download this update patch v.1.7 could it be still working even though the main game installation is not from skidrow?? For example I download my Fallout 4 game from nosteam.ro but his website doesn’t have the dlc’s included. So I search some files from other website for the update patch with all dlcs which leads me to this site. Everything seems to work fine until I get to the menu, where none of the options work. I’ve tried to go into gameprefs and disable gamepad, but I doubt that’s the problem since I see a cursor in the menu, so it’s not like the client thinks I’m using a controller. Any ideas?

Hey guys.. I have the same dll missing problems.
I have copied all cracked files from the CODEX directory towards my fallout one. After this I have already tried to manually download all the dll files and install them as well. Now I have a new error: “?GFSDK_GodraysLib_Close@@YA?AW4GFSDK_GodraysLib_Status@@PEAUGFSDK_GodraysLib_Ctx@@@Z not findable in the DLL-file”
Also when starting from the Launcher I get the message that there is no ini-file.. Which is logical, because I can’t start the game yet…
And now I know why… I did not noticed this is only the update.. no base game included.. HAHAHa.. I’m downloading the basegame now.. and see what happens than

THIS WILL DEFFINELY FIX YOUR PROBLEM!!!
it will work, if you DON’T copy the steam.dll & steam.api
in codex folder.
basically… leave the steam.api and steam.dll, keep the original one in the original folder, but PLEASE DO CHANGE the fallout.exe and fallout.cdx file
if you dont get it, then read this instruction
-Get your “fallout4- codex”(if you already install the game then u dont do this part). DONT DELETE ANY FILES AT ALL
-Now since you already download this one, install everything like you install the dlc
-in the CODEX FOLDER, ONLY COPY THE “Fallout.exe” AND “fallout.cdx” ,DONT COPY THE STEAM FILE AT ALL!! not only it crash the game, you will be brought to steam, so dont touch those files at all
-Now Open the Fallout4launcher
-Press Reset (this is important)and go to advanced, make sure the GODRAYS and WETNESS IS OFF, it really … REeeeaallly make you lag in the game cause this DLC

I havent played fallout 4 since this damn dlc came out because it crashes as soon as your about to enter nuka world, right at the part where they say “its the largest mountain in nuka world” and CTD.
what do i do??? ive seen SO mnay people with this problem but no solutions ive found.
I managed to make it work without starting fresh, I mean I did not remove a single file in my old copy with mods, save files, tweaks…
All I did was download the file, made a folder in my desktop and install it there. then I go to my Fallout 4 Directory. delete all the files that will be replaced/updated by the new files.(for example files that starts with DLCRobot, DLCCoast, Fallout4- Animations etc. file formats that are B2A,ESM,ActiveServerPage,CSG.
Then Copy the installed/downloaded files inside data to the directory.
don’t forget to do the same with the cracks.
I hope you understand. my english is not good but I really want to share this. sooo yeah…
I did not start fresh nor did a clean install! still playing my saves and haven’t notice any problem so far. P.S. no crashes! :)

After I downloaded this patch, my graphics got corrupted. I didn’t uninstall and re-install which I am trying now but I’ve read online that it’s because FO4 is not compatible with Intel Graphic cards but I saw a video where the guy gives us a link to his tweaked files which fixes the problem but that link is dead and I could not find anything else on this and I am not a techie so I need help. Otherwise your torrent on piratebay works marvelously.

Having a HUGE dilemma, so i can install the fallout 4 codex, works like a charm, but none of the updates are working correctly for me, i installed them on a fresh file, disabled antivirus, tried codex files from all updates, and crack only(crack only has been the one working for me, no the crack files the games came with) but after i install the updates and dlc, it shows up in a black box for about ten seconds, then closes, I’ve also tried launching from exe instead of the launcher and that hasn’t worked for me either, any ideas would be lovely!
Hate to be a person who posts more then once before being responded to, but i have found a solution for the game crashing on start up, you must change priority to realtime in the task manager. But after figuring that out i’ve come across another issue i could use help with, every time i start a new game, it goes to the loading screen for about ten seconds then crashes, no dialogue or anything. any ideas?

hey I tried to download it through torrent link as usual but it said 404 not found and so I tried every other link but only ads pop up please upload a clear torrent link
All links seems to be down EXCEPT the “multiup.org” link on the torrent link page, you just have to constantly wade through pop-ups and close them and you’ll eventually get the torrent file, took me a while.
Don’t work now.

Everything ingame is flickering. The objects themselves, not the screen off/on. I have 6950 ATI with the latest drivers. This is all in game objects , user interface(pipboy) is all fine and clear just 3d objects and major huge random tessellations across the sky. Its a game glitch not hardware , only fresh install and this patch both codex.
